Last updated: September 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Daily Armor and Daily Covering mobile web applications and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Fitz Lawrence (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Fitz Lawrence. You are entering into a contract with Fitz Lawrence when you use the Service or purchase a membership.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. What the Service provides

Daily Armor and Daily Covering are faith-based daily reflection apps designed to help users build a consistent morning and evening spiritual practice. Features include guided check-ins, journal entries, goals and milestones, progress tracking, year-end review, reminders, “I Need a Moment” grounding exercises, and Sermon Notes with optional AI-generated summaries and takeaways.

We may update, change, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information updated. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;
  • Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • Spamming, harassing, or impersonating others;
  • Infringing intellectual property rights or the privacy rights of others;
  • Scraping, probing, or reverse engineering any part of the Service;
  • Circumventing any technical limits, access controls, or usage restrictions.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, designs, text, and materials provided through the Service are owned by Fitz Lawrence or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of any personal reflections, journal entries, sermon notes, and other content you create in the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and back up Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Payment, subscriptions, and billing

Some features require a paid membership. Memberships are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. Prices are shown in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Payments, billing, tax, subscription management, cancellations, and refunds are handled by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms, which are incorporated by reference. You can review Paddle’s Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Merchant of Record disclosure: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Refunds

Every membership begins with a 7-day free trial — cancel during the trial and you will not be charged. After the trial, membership payments are non-refundable; you may cancel at any time to stop future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds, where applicable, are processed by Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or contact our support team. Please see our Refund Policy for details.

9. AI-generated content

The Service may use artificial intelligence to generate sermon summaries, key takeaways, and personalized reflection prompts. You understand that:

  • AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation;
  • You are responsible for how you use AI outputs, including verifying their accuracy against Scripture and your own discernment;
  • AI outputs are not a substitute for pastoral, medical, legal, or professional advice;
  • You may not use AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
  • We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to AI features for misuse.

10. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have materially breached these Terms, engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, posed a security risk, or repeatedly violated our policies. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but these Terms will continue to apply to past conduct and outstanding obligations.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fitz Lawrence disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fitz Lawrence’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitations are prohibited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fitz Lawrence from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Contact us

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at the support channel provided within the Service or through our payment partner, Paddle.
